Ingredients
4 cups (500 gm) flour
2 teaspoons (10 cc) baking powder
2 teaspoons (10 cc) salt
4 Tablespoons (60cc) oil
1 cup (250cc) hottest tap water
Method
Mix all ingredients together, kneading until dough is elastic and all flour is absorbed. Form into walnut-sized balls and cover with towel. Let rest for about 10 minutes.
Roll each ball into a circle and cook on a hot UNgreased griddle or frying pan, flipping once during cooking.
These may be made with some whole wheat flour too–substitute 1 cup white for whole wheat flour.

If you can’t buy flour tortillas, but have basic ingredients, your family can enjoy a Mexican treat for dinner.
