3-4 kilos potatoes
8 ounces cream cheese-softened
8 ounces sour cream
1-2 teaspoons onion salt
Mash the potatoes, however you usually make them (with milk, butter, etc. Try something exciting!
Mix the mashed potatoes with the cream cheese, sour cream and onion salt.
Blend until well mixed. Put in casserole dish. Drizzle with melted butter (and paprika if you have it…).
Bake at 350 degree F. for 1 hour.
This casserole is usually a little runny when you first take it out of the oven, but it sets up very nicely.
Try this family favorite. These mashed potatoes, enriched with cheese, make a healthy side dish and great left-overs!
